What You Will Do?

• To carry out studies to ensure the planning, implementation and supervision of Process Safety Management System elements at Tüpraş,
• Focus on prevention of major process safety events (loss of containment, fire, explosion, toxic release) carrying out activities to prevent, investigate and report accidents/incidents related to process safety in Tüpraş operations,
• Establishing, regularly monitoring and reporting Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Process Safety,
• To ensure that Process Hazard Analyses (Hazop, What If, etc.) are carried out and to manage the studies,
• To manage the Management of Change (MOC) studies and ensure continuous improvement of the system,
• To conduct research and investigations on technological / sectoral innovations related to the subject, to follow national and international standards (TSE, NFPA, ASME, API, etc.),
• To fulfill the requirements of the Regulation on Protection against Major Industrial Accidents, to carry out Seveso studies,
• To follow Tüpraş standards and legal requirements on Process Safety elements, to take action when necessary,
• Making Process Safety annual audit program, participating in audits and following up on the actions taken,
• To prepare Emergency Plans and Interventions related to Process Safety,
• In line with the activities of Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System), to effectively carry out planning, implementation, monitoring and improvement activities that directly and/or indirectly concern the unit within the scope of their authority.
• Drives and supports the digitalization of Process Safety processes, including KPI tracking, incident management, and PSM system monitoring.

What We Look For?

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in related positions,
• Fluent in English, able to use it actively in written and oral communication (at least B2 level),
• Proficient in using MS Office applications,
• Able to actively drive a vehicle,
• Continuously monitors technological / sectoral innovations related to his/her subject, changes in legislation and standards related to the works he/she is accountable for,
• Strong adaptability to innovations, able to adapt quickly,
• Dynamic, self-development oriented
• Flexible and open to new perspectives
• Demonstrates strong teamwork skills, maintains effective business follow-up, is innovation- and future-oriented, possesses a strong sense of social responsibility, and has the ability to build and sustain effective dialogue.
